The Rebeccas had lunch and some shopping at Ikea. Very exciting. First up, lunch at Flourish Bakery Cafe in Edgewater. It was delish! We enjoyed a feast of epic proportions but the dessert was the best part! Chocolate Peppermint Cake! And Red Velvet Cake with Buttercream Frosting. Why am I capping each letter? It’s just that important, I guess.


Then it was off to Ikea, where Rebecca bought a few things for the house and Rebecca P. was a good sport for taking her there to buy things that were too large for her to put in our car. Was the use of Rebecca and “her” in that sentence confusing enough? I’m en editor, you know. Heh. You try writing about yourself in the third person. It’s very confusing. Whatev.


HOW hott is this bath mat? HOW. Hott. Please ignore the chipped paint of the front of the bath cabinet. I hate our apartment contractors so I won’t ask them in to fix it. I’m close to caving, though.

And the big purchase is next! Woot!
